In a post on Twitter, the player revealed that he no longer felt motivated to participate in professional CS:GO and, as a result, decided to leave the esports scene indefinitely.

“I’m grateful for the incredible 10-year journey in esports. It’s amazing to reflect on the exceptional experiences that came from competing in such a beautiful sport. I feel privileged to be able to retire at the age of 24 and look back on the great memories from the past years,” Zero wrote.

“I have lost interest in competing and as a result, I am no longer driven to improve my skills in CS. I am not interested in pursuing something solely for money.”

Zero gave fans a hint of what he had planned for the future, writing that it was the right moment for him to “explore other passions”. The 24-year-old added that he wanted to spend some of his time on self-study and would stream some of the said studies for interested fans.

While announcing his future plans, Zero disclosed that he would reminisce on his time in esports fondly. He also thanked all his former teammates and coaches.

Zero ends his pro career after 10 years in the field and is popularly known for his stint with HellRaisers between 2016 and 2017. During his time with the team, Zero played alongside Martin “?STYKO?” Styk, Tom��? “?oskar?” ??astny, and Kirill “?ANGE1?” Karasio.

The player competed in his first ELEAGUE Major with HellRaisers in addition to several Major qualifiers. The team also won the Copenhagen Games in 2016 and got second place in the 2017 DreamHack Open Tours with him on the squad.

Zero played for GamerLegion in tier-two tournaments from 2020-2022. His most recent CS:GO game was with SINNERS, where he played in place of OG-bound Adam “?NEOFRAG?” Zouhar. The player stepped down from the lineup last month due to personal reasons.

In their grand final match against SINNERS, Eternal Fire lost the first map – Overpass – 16-11, due to the efforts of Patrik “Zero” ?��del. EF were able to even out the score in the second map, Nuke, during the final round of regulation despite SINNERS�� attempt at a comeback.? ?Eternal Fire eventually finished off the reverse sweep on Inferno after reaching a respectable 16-8 win.?

?Eternal Fire��s Ismailcan “XANTARES” D?rtkarde? stood out during the TWR Eastern European Masters Fall 2022 and scored one of the highest ratings among the players in the tournament. ??

In the past 10 days, Eternal Fire have participated in 16 matches, making their recent victories all the more commendable. Due to competing in several tournaments at the same time, they have also played more than 34 individual maps.? ?

With this win, Eternal Fire join the list of teams who have qualified for the October BLAST Fall Showdown. Some of these teams include Heroic, BIG, Astralis, and Vitality.? ?The remaining three slots will be filled by the Ace North American Masters Fall winner and two direct invitations from the tournament organizers.?

?Besides the $135,000 prize pool, the participants of the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown have a chance to win two of the available spots to compete in the BLAST Premier Fall Final, which will take place in November.

?K23 enter the second season of the European Development Championship (EDC) as the reigning champions, having won the first season with a near-perfect 8-1 record. However, it’s important to note that this will be K23’s first official match in over a month.

On the flip side, Izako Boars have been fairly active since the turn of the year. They recently fought their way through the Snow Sweet Snow #1 Regional Group and Regional Swiss Stage with an 8-2 record, dropping games only against ENCE (0-2) and the ex-100 Thieves core playing under EXTREMUM (1-2).

K23 might be a stronger side, but they will enter this match a bit ring rusty. We are backing the in-form Izako Boars to take the win.

Sinners Esports last met with VP.Prodigy just over a month ago when they won 2-1. They have since played seven games and won all but one against Infinite Gaming (10-16) on Wednesday. VP.Prodigy, on the other hand, played out eight games in that stretch and lost six, which includes all of their last three.

Even though VP.Prodigy stole one map off Sinners last time out, we are not convinced they can achieve the same feat on Saturday, especially after the departure of Aleksandr “mefixs” Ilukhin. Sinners to win 2-0 at $1.67 (with the top esports betting sites) is a good bet.

Since the complete roster rebuild in May, Vexed have yet to achieve any notable results. They enter this match with a 2-3 record from their last five outings, which is not bad, but considering they have not played a single official match in almost a month, they’re likely a bit ring rusty.

Like Vexed, Case have not been active since December, when they pocketed a silver medal at the Esport Tour Pro Winter 2020, which is a fairly impressive result for a team of their calibre.

Due to their success in December, it��s fair to say Case should win this match more times than not, but considering there will be some ring rust on both sides, we expect a more open game. In such situations, momentum plays a massive role, which usually sees a team that wins the first map close out the series with 2-0.
